We love where we live! Missoula, Montana nestles in the heart of five valleys deep in the Rocky Mountains (elevation 3,200 feet). Populated with over 57,000 community members and overflowing with recreation, arts, and culture, the city and surrounding area serves as a hub for Western Montana.

Bike trails, walkways, and parks are numerous in Missoula, and hiking is a way of life here, with many trailheads within city limits. Wilderness preserves are just next-door and rafting and kayaking are favorite summer recreation activities.

Pow-wows, museums, weekly free music in the “Out to Lunch” series in Caras Park, rodeos, the Farmers Markets and People’s Market, and an active nightlife provide more than ample entertainment for your free time during SI and AI.

• Large group lectures will be held at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts, 200 N. Adams Street in Downtown Missoula. 
• The Lighting Studio is now located downtown at 125 E. Main, just across the street from our downtown classroom locations.
